Still not done yet, because it's exam week. Finished endings knife, sub, and axe, though.

More theories!

I'm marking the ones I believe to be true (lolInfinityseries) as confirmed. Even if they're not really true because of hidden evidence X.

Ooh, finally a thread for 999. My copy was sent to me a few days ago. Can't wait to get it~

People are saying this game is good, but I haven't really given it any consideration. What's the low-down?

I'm on my second run-through (after Geno completed all the endings). It is excellent - challenging and entertaining. My only complaint is that the dialogue can take a little too long to read through (though you can speed through with the D pad). Other than that, it is a well thought-out game.

It's a visual novel with puzzles. Think Ever17, except not as good at blowing your mind. Think Umineko, except not as much trolling. Think Professor Layton, but not as much hats.

And yeah, my one complaint is that the text speed is really slow. You can't speed through text that you haven't read before, either. My first play through was annoying because of this. I (and people in general, probably) read a lot faster than the text speed, so I have to wait for the next word to appear.

I don't know about that, Mushi. My mind was pretty fuckin' blown. Maybe it's because of the endings you've seen - admittedly, this game is pretty mediocre until you play through the true and safe (first and third?) endings.

EDIT: Why am I spoilering things without spoilers?

RE: Let's talk 999. - Ema The Science Skye - Wed, Dec 15, 2010

By the way, are my theories close?

RE: Let's talk 999. - AntiRoyalty - Wed, Dec 15, 2010

I don't think I should answer that.

RE: Let's talk 999. - Ema The Science Skye - Wed, Dec 15, 2010

Fine, I'll finish it tonight.

RE: Let's talk 999. - Rov - Wed, Dec 15, 2010

Never heard of Ever17, and never played Umineko. But I might give this game a shot.

RE: Let's talk 999. - Ema The Science Skye - Wed, Dec 15, 2010

By the way, don't Google any of these.

RE: Let's talk 999. - AntiRoyalty - Wed, Dec 15, 2010

Ema, one of your theories is a little broken. (Click to View)
