So Bethesda just released the Fallout 4 official trailer earlier today.

Not sure if any of you are big into Fallout or Elder Scrolls, but I'm pretty bumped. While I like Elder Scrolls better than Fallout, I'm just a fan of the big sandbox RPG style games in general.

Anybody else looking forward to this?
YES
those animations don't look so good
I'm more sad than pumped, because it's only coming out for Next Gen :C

Hopefully it comes out after the steam systems are released. Or maybe I'll get a PS4. Idk.
I tried to play Fallout 3 but I didn't like it. Well that's my story.

Yeah - the graphics aren't the greatest, but if you get it on PC there will undoubtedly be mods for that. And you should totally get it on the PC - unless your PC sucks - and if it does, you should totally upgrade - and if you don't have the money, you should totally just sell your body out for a month in order to afford a computer upgrade. Problem solved!

The amount of mods available for Skyrim is insane, and some of them are so good/useful, that I couldn't even consider trying Skyrim on console. I'm sure Fallout 4 will be the same way, graphics mods aside.

Skyrim was the first game I purchased for my current laptop. It came out around the same time I purchased my laptop, and I have to say- I wasn't disappointed.

My main question is whether or not the steam consoles will allow modding programs like a computer. This is mostly because I don't want to lose my mods for The Sith Lords Restored Content and M4-78 in KOTORII, my Skyrim mods from nexus, et cetera.
I bought my last laptop specifically for Skyrim - t'was a good investment. Luckily I shouldn't need to upgrade my current desktop for Fallout 4. From the looks of it, it can't be all that demanding.

I would think that the Steam console would allow modding... I mean, that would only make sense. They've made the workshop such a big part of Steam that it'd be silly to have a Steam console without Steam workshop capabilities.

Dragon Age: Inquisition runs my poor 360 ragged. I worry that FO4 would be too demanding for my laptop. I'll have to play it in PSX mode where all the polygons are jaggedy and sharp. I'll be able to cut people with unarmed attacks.

And sure, there's the workshop, but I specifically mean Nexus mods (some of which don't appear on the workshop), and mods from The Sith Lords Remastered (or whatever it was called).

Well now that I've watched that trailer it certainly looks a bit prettier than Fallout 3

So that's something I guess
